TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR PRAT DE LA VELLA ('Agreement')

Party Leader’s Responsibilities
The person ('Party Leader') making the reservation must be over 18 years of age and be authorised by all other persons in the party to enter into this Agreement, ('Party Leader'). The Party Leader shall assume full responsibility for all persons in the party, their actions and their safety, during your stay at Prat de la Vella, 'the Property'.

Responsibilities of the Owners
During your reserved stay at the Property, the Owners or Servissim ('The Owners' Agent') will ensure that the Property is cleaned and equipment checked and tidied prior to your arrival. All beds and linen will be prepared for the numbers requested in your party. Subject to the terms of this Agreement, you will have full and unfettered use of the apartment during your stay without interference from the Owner or Servissim. The Owners or their Agent will be available to answer any reasonable questions or issues you may have during your stay and will make all reasonable efforts to correct any problems you may encounter.

Indemnity
You must indemnify the Owners and their Agent and hold them harmless against any and all action and/or costs awarded against them as a result of your or any member of your party’s actions during your stay in the Property. We strongly recommend you obtain adequate insurance cover.

Office Hours
All year:Monday to Friday from 9h30 to 19h00
High season: Monday to Friday from 9h30 to 19h00
Saturday 9h30 to 13h00 – 15h00 to 19h00

Flexible Booking
We have made our system as flexible as possible to accommodate those who are travelling long distances. 6 and 13 day holidays are possible even in high season, and out of season you may plan your arrival on any day of the week.

Booking Arrangements
The exact cost of your holiday will be quoted to you at the time of booking. You will then be asked to send us an amount equal to 25% of the cost of the apartment, to confirm your reservation. If you have to cancel your reservation, certain fees apply (see below). Please remember that you can cover these risks with a travel insurance policy.

You must pay the balance of your holiday cost 30 days prior to your arrival.

Please note that unless we receive a deposit, your booking cannot be confirmed and we reserve the right to cancel your reservation.

Cancellation Fees
• Between 60 and 29 days prior to arrival, a retention of 10% of the total cost will be made
• From 28 and 16 days prior to arrival, the retention will be 25%
• From 15 to 8 days prior to arrival, the retention will be 50%
• From 8 days to 1 day prior to arrival, the retention will be 90%
• and less than 1 day prior to arrival, 100% of the cost will retained.

Late Arrivals and Arrivals on Sundays
Please note, above, the opening times of the Servissim office in Arinsal. If you intend arriving other than at these times, you should make special arrangements with our office well in advance, otherwise we can accept no responsibility for the fact that you cannot have access to the apartment. When making your booking, please advise of your approximate arrival time so that everything can be prepared correctly for you.

Deposits Against Damages and Return of Linen
On arrival you will be asked to pay a damages deposit of €150. The damages deposit will be returned to you 7 days after departure having checked the return of the linen and having made an inspection of the apartment to check that it is clean, tidy and there is nothing missing. You may pay your account with cash in any currency. A separate receipt for the damages deposit will be made and will be returned after departure if everyrthing is correct.

Cleaning and Laundry
You are expected to leave the apartment clean and tidy on the day of departure. Check out must be before 10 am. On arrival you will be issued with the correct linen for your stay and must return this to The Servissim, Arinsal office, in the bag provided, on checking out. You may request a change of linen at any time at €5 per person and those staying more than one week are entitled to a free change of linen for the second and subsequent weeks. Extra cleaning service can be booked in advance.

Arrival and Departure
Handovers normally occur on each Saturday. Therefore in order for us to prepare the Property prior to your arrival, you agree and acknowledge that your party will arrive at the Property no earlier than 3 pm on the first Saturday of your holiday and acknowledge that you will all vacate by no later than 10am on the Saturday following the last day of your assigned departure date. Please ensure the Owners or their Agent are aware of your estimated arrival and departure times.

Security Deposit
A refundable security deposit is required from you and must be paid with the balance of the monies for your reservation as detailed above in Full Payment. Hopefully there will not have been any mishaps, but you must bring to the attention of the Owners immediately any damage, breakages or any other problem caused by you or your party occur during your stay in the Property. You acknowledge and agree that the costs incurred by the Owner to correct such issue(s) will be deducted from your security deposit. Your security deposit will be returned to you at the address given, within two weeks of your departure from Prat de la Vella. The full amount will be repaid unless the Owners agent report an issue with the property and its contents caused during your stay. To avoid unnecessary delay in returning your deposit we would ask that you bring to the attention of our agent any breakages, damage, etc, caused by you or your party prior to your departure.

No Smoking
In order to cater for families and all other parties wishing to enjoy the clean atmosphere of our area we insist that the house remains a no smoking zone and ask that you respect this condition.

FURTHER CONDITIONS AND INFORMATION

1. The Law
We pride ourselves in that we adhere to the safety standards required by the laws of Andorra. We do want you to enjoy yourselves but respectfully ask that you and your party comply with the laws of Andorra and respect the privacy and rights of your neighbours whilst in Prat de la Vella.

2. Safety Equipment
We have provided fire extinguishers, a fire blanket, and smoke and CO2 detectors. You should familiarise yourself with all exits and the correct use of the emergency equipment on site. Commercial First Aid kits are also available on site in case of accidents. As the leader of your party you have the responsibility for everyone in your party, their safety and to ensure that you all take all reasonable precautions to avoid accidents during your stay. A telephone is in the house in case the need arises to call for help. We strongly recommend that you obtain adequate insurance cover. We hope it goes without saying but the safety equipment we have provided is there for you safety and must never be tampered with unless you require them for their intended purpose. Incorrect or mischievous use of safety equipment could put your own or others' lives at risk.

3. Potential Hazards
Please be safe during your stay and in particular pay special note to the following. Electrical sockets in Andorra are always live and electrical equipment is not always earthed. The open fireplace in the lounge must not be used by children or used to burn rubbish. It must only be used with the materials provided and only if the weather is such that the internal temperature is uncomfortable. All fire, candles, electric or naked flame heaters must never be left unattended and always be supervised by an adult.

4. Utilities
If required the house is heated via gas fired central heating and open fires. The cooker is gas with electric griddle and oven. There is a repalcement gas bottle for the cooker in the ski locker, located on level -2. The water is heated by gas or electric. The waste water drains into the local drainage system and therefore only the chemicals provided should only be used for the, toilets, washing machine and dish washer in order to avoid damaging the chemical balance.

5. Banking and Money
Most banks in Andorra contain an ATM that subject to adequate funds will dispense Euros to you, if you have a UK credit or debit card that requires a pin number. Many people no longer carry large amounts of cash to see them through their holiday, preferring to withdraw money from an ATM locally. The local Credit Andorra Bank in front of the apartment should be able to provide for all you financial requirements.

6. Welcome Pack
A welcome pack which will consist of a few basic food items which will be purchased for you ready to be used when you arrive. Please understand that we cannot cater for specific dietary or medical needs that you or your party may have.

7. Final Notes
It is not normally necessary to wash any bed linen or the towels provided as this will be done by our Agent. Please do ensure the crockery and cutlery you have used is washed and dried prior to your departure and any equipment used is returned to its stowed positions.

We do hope your stay will be most relaxing, enjoyable and only ask that you leave the property as you found it.
